Originally known as Runston Parva, Kaiser Chiefs is an indie rock band from Leeds, England, that was formed in 1997. After a name change to Parva in 2000 and the release of their debut studio album, "22," in 2003, the band rebranded themselves as Kaiser Chiefs that same year. The current lineup of the band includes lead vocalist Ricky Wilson, guitarist Andrew "Whitey" White, bassist Simon Rix, keyboardist Nick "Peanut" Baines, and drummer Vijay Mistry, who joined in 2013 after the departure of founding drummer Nick Hodgson in late 2012.
