American experimental band Son Lux performs at the Summer Well festival in Buftea, Romania on August 9, 2019. Son Lux, initially a solo project by Ryan Lott, evolved into an experimental American band with the addition of Rafiq Bhatia and Ian Chang in 2015, and earned acclaim for their unique post-rock and electronica blend, culminating in a Best Original Score nomination at the 95th Academy Awards for their composition in the film Everything Everywhere All at Once.
