Formed in 2012 in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, Nothing but Thieves is an English rock band composed of lead vocalist and guitarist Conor Mason, guitarist Joe Langridge-Brown, guitarist and keyboardist Dominic Craik, bassist Philip Blake, and drummer James Price. They signed with RCA Records in 2014 and released their self-titled debut album the following year in October 2015. Their second album, Broken Machine, came out in September 2017 and garnered considerable praise while peaking at No. 2 on the UK Album Charts. They then released an EP called What Did You Think When You Made Me This Way? in October 2018, and their third studio album, Moral Panic, in October 2020, which reached No. 3 on the UK Albums Chart. The band's musical style has drawn comparisons to Foals, Civil Twilight, Queens of the Stone Age, and Royal Blood.
