Originating from Brighton, England in 2014, Black Honey is a British indie rock quartet comprised of Izzy Baxter Phillips as the lead vocalist and guitarist, Chris Ostler on guitar, Tommy Taylor playing the bass, and Alex Woodward on drums, who replaced Tom Dewhurst. They made their first appearance on the music scene with a self-titled EP in late 2014, followed by a debut album of the same name in 2018, which climbed to number 33 on the UK Albums Chart. Their sophomore album, "Written & Directed," released in March 2021, fared even better, reaching the 7th position on the UK Albums Chart.
