Adam Lambert is an American singer, songwriter and actor, who first gained recognition as the runner-up on the eighth season of American Idol in 2009. He is known for his powerful vocals, flamboyant stage presence, and his ability to blend different genres of music, including rock, pop, and electronic. After American Idol, Lambert released his debut album, "For Your Entertainment" in 2009, which featured the hit single "Whataya Want from Me" and reached the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart. He has since released several other albums and has also been involved in several tours and collaborations with other artists. He has also been active in musical theater, performing in productions of "Wicked" and "The Ten Commandments: The Musical". In addition to his solo work, Adam Lambert has been the lead vocalist for the rock band Queen in the group Queen + Adam Lambert since 2011. They have performed together on multiple tours around the world from 2014 to 2022.
