Abraham Burton is a world-renowned jazz saxophonist and educator with over three decades of experience in the jazz scene. He has been showcased as a soloist on two Grammy award-winning albums and has been a featured musician on more than 100 recordings. He has performed and recorded with many renowned jazz artists and has also been active in the jazz education scene, teaching and mentoring young musicians. He was born and raised in Greenwich Village and attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & the Performing Arts and the University of Hartford and Rutgers University, where he obtained his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Music respectively. Abraham has also been a mentor of Jackie McLean institute of Jazz, Rutgers University, and Christian McBride's music program “Jazz House Kids”.
