1000mods is a Greek psychedelic/stoner rock band formed in 2006 in the city of Volos. The band's music is heavily influenced by classic rock and heavy metal, as well as psychedelic and stoner rock bands of the 1970s. They have released several albums, including "Super Van Vacation" (2008), "Boiler" (2011), "Vultures" (2014), "Repeated Exposure to... (2016), "Yunost"(2021), that have gained them a following in the stoner rock and psychedelic rock scenes. 1000mods is known for its heavy and powerful sound, characterized by distorted guitar riffs, groovy basslines and powerful drumming. They often incorporate elements of blues, funk and even traditional Greek music in their sound. They have performed in many festivals and venues around Europe and have gained a reputation as one of the most prominent and active bands in the Greek rock scene.
